王继刚:别号闲云堂主人,1963年出生,江苏徐州人,1984年考取江苏省文艺学院,1995年就学于中国美协中国画高研班,2014年就读于龙瑞先生山水画研究生课程班,现为中国农工民主党党员,中国北京凰凰岭美术馆山水画家,中国水墨研究院院士,当代美术研究院研究员、一级美术师,中华诗词学会会员,江苏省美术家协会会员,中国画研究院副院长,中国书画网艺委会副主任,江苏省侨联书画院理事,徐州市侨联书画院副院长,徐州市美术家协会中国画艺委会委员,徐州市文联书画院执行院长,彭城画院院长,萧龙士艺术馆名誉馆长,《淮海书画名家》主编。

作品多次参加全国性大赛(展)并获奖,艺术生平入编《当代中国画名家辞典》《世界书画家大辞典》等20余部专业书籍,1989年被评为徐州十佳青年国画家。曾获全国《十年国画精品》怀历金奖。1995年于中央美院举办《王继刚山水画展》,并接受中央电视台、香港电视台联合制作的《金山角》节目专访。2013年接受江苏有线电视台银晟影视频道《东方视角》艺术人生专访。部分作品被中央美院画廊及海内外知名机构或个人收藏。已出版《闲云集》《王继刚画集》《江苏省美术家精品集•王继刚专集》《当代中国画名家精品集•王继刚专辑》等。

Wang Jigang: The owner of Xianyuntang, Born in 1963, Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, In 1984, he was admitted to Jiangsu Institute of Literature and Art, In 1995, he studied in the Chinese Painting Advanced Research Class of China Artists Association. In 2014, he studied in Mr. Long Rui's postgraduate course in landscape painting. Now he is a member of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, Landscape painter of Huanghuangling Art Museum in Beijing, China, Academician of China Ink Research Institute, Researcher and first-class artist of the Institute of Contemporary Fine Arts, Member of Chinese Poetry Society, Member of Jiangsu Artists Association, Vice President of Chinese Painting Research Institute, Deputy Director of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Network Art Committee, Director of Jiangsu Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Vice President of Xuzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Member of Xuzhou Artists Association Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Committee, Executive Dean of Xuzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles Painting and Calligraphy Institute, Dean of Pengcheng Painting Academy, Honorary Director of Xiao Longshi Art Museum and Editor-in-Chief of Huaihai Famous Painting and Calligraphy Artists.

 

His works have participated in many national competitions (exhibitions) and won awards. His artistic life has been compiled into more than 20 professional books such as Dictionary of Famous Contemporary Chinese Painters and Dictionary of World Painters and Painters. In 1989, he was rated as one of the top ten young Chinese painters in Xuzhou. He has won the gold medal of "Ten-year Excellent Chinese Painting" in China. In 1995, he held the "Wang Jigang Landscape Painting Exhibition" at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and accepted an exclusive interview with the program "Jinshan Corner" jointly produced by CCTV and Hong Kong TV. In 2013, he accepted an exclusive interview with "Oriental Perspective" of Yinsheng Film and Television Channel of Jiangsu Cable TV Station. Some works are collected by the Gallery of Central Academy of Fine Arts and well-known institutions or inpiduals at home and abroad. He has published "Idle Gathering", "Wang Jigang Painting Collection", "Jiangsu Artists' Boutique Collection Wang Jigang Album", "Contemporary Chinese Painting Masters' Boutique Collection Wang Jigang Album" and so on.

 

His works and appreciation have been serialized in dozens of newspapers and magazines such as Chinese Painting Observation, Books and Paintings, China Reform News, People's Daily, Xinmin Evening News, Contemporary Education, Art Investment and Danqing World.

不论你怎样的论述绘画者的技法和笔墨特性,都离不开绘画者其内在的精神感应洒落在纸端之上,就是你身心有、头脑有、生活有、乃至于手端有也,曾记得上世纪八十年代初,我在江苏省文艺学院采访过在此求学的王继刚,那时他说:“我曾经在很深的夜晚,带着水和干粮细致观察过好长时间的各种各样的树!树跟随着月光、黑夜的颜色在变化,春夏秋冬都看过。”我当时愕然,现在想来他的确是如此的,不然,他对树木枝柳的绘画描写哪能如此之深刻、如此之灵动,我想他的情感都赋予了他的画面上了,让人感到有种置身其中,置身于水墨之间难以自拔,作为画、或者为画者不免渴望如一吧!

几乎每次与王继刚先生谈画的时候,他总是渴望让我何时能说说“画法”,我当时是沉闷的,我认为:千余年来特别是近代,对于技法和笔墨的描述几乎穷尽了,何用其吾者再次重复,体现画作内在精神、情感的东西道是少了点,这恰恰是王氏作品的高明之处吧!

I remember that in the early 1980s, I interviewed Wang Jigang, who was studying here at Jiangsu Institute of Literature and Art. At that time, he said, "I used to observe all kinds of trees with water and dry food for a long time in the deep night! Trees follow the moonlight, and the colors of night are changing. They have been seen in spring, summer, autumn and winter. " I was startled at that time. Now that I think about it, he is really like this. Otherwise, his painting description of trees, branches and willows can be so profound and smart. I think his emotions have been given to his picture, which makes people feel that they are in it, and it is difficult to extricate themselves from ink painting. As a painting, or for the painter, they can't help but yearn for the same!

Almost every time I talk about painting with Mr. Wang Jigang, He is always eager for me to talk about "painting". I was dull at that time. I think: For more than a thousand years, especially in modern times, the description of techniques and pen and ink has been almost exhausted. Why should we repeat it again? There are few things that reflect the inner spirit and emotion of paintings? This is precisely the genius of Wang's works!
