At over 65, he welcomed He Minghua into the world, cherishing her as his precious treasure. Before the liberation, her father served as the personal physician to Dai Li, the head of the Kuomintang secret police, and also treated comrades like Yang Shangkun and Guo Moruo, healing countless patients. In an era of ideological turbulence, her father broke the tradition of passing medical knowledge only to sons, teaching his daughter from an early age to memorize medical classics, identify herbs, and assist in diagnosing and prescribing treatments. 在诊所开办期间，何明华每天一刻不停最多也只能诊治四十至五十位病人，这对于中国庞大的人口基数来说不过是九牛一毛，而中医主张"治未病"比"治已病"更重要，"药膳同源"的理念启发了何明华，她想到了"何家茶"----一个始于元代，具有八百多年历史，江南何氏中医家族的祖传配方。确定想法后，何明华便当机立断，她用大量的精力与时间，搜集了质量上乘的药材，并在祖传长寿秘方和多年临床经验的基础上，与现代工艺进行融合，通过晾、切、磨、研、熬、煮等制作方式，对良茶的效果和口感进行改进，经过一遍遍的尝试与探索，最终配制出了这款具有清炎利喉、除口臭、通便功效的药茶，这便是"东杏良茶"最初的模样。说起"东杏良茶"名字的由来，何明华回答说"良"表示用良心做产品、良好的原材料，有良好的功效；"杏"表示中医药，"东杏"代表东方的医药、中国创造，中医药是中国五千年文明一颗璀璨的明珠，在此基础上，加以现代工艺，必然会碰撞出灿烂的火花。
During the operation of the clinic, He Minghua could treat at most forty to fifty patients every day without stopping, which was merely a drop in the ocean compared to China's vast population. Traditional Chinese medicine advocates "treating disease before it occurs" as more important than "treating existing diseases." The concept of "the same origin of medicinal food and herbal tea" inspired He Minghua, leading her to think of "He Family Tea" —a family recipe passed down by the He family of traditional Chinese medicine in Jiangnan, which dates back to the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of over eight hundred years. After finalizing her idea, He Minghua acted decisively. She devoted a great deal of time and effort to collecting high-quality medicinal materials. Based on the ancestral longevity secret recipe and years of clinical experience, she combined it with modern techniques, refining the effects and taste of the tea through processes such as drying, cutting, grinding, and boiling. After repeated trials and explorations, she ultimately formulated this medicinal tea with the effects of clearing inflammation, soothing the throat, eliminating bad breath, and relieving constipation. This was the initial form of "Dongxing Liangcha." When asked about the origin of the name "Dongxing Liangcha," He Minghua explained that "Liang" signifies producing products with integrity and using high-quality raw materials to ensure efficacy, while "Xing" represents traditional Chinese medicine. "Dongxing" symbolizes the medicine of the East and the creation of China. Traditional Chinese medicine is a brilliant pearl in the five-thousand-year civilization of China. 2012年9月，何明华得知云南彝良地震灾区全县水管被震破的消息，当即决定捐赠价值13万的良茶，并亲自带领车队前往。2013年4月，四川雅安地震，何明华为灾区送去价值7万的凉茶和物资。
In September 2012, He Minghua learned that the water pipes in the earthquake-stricken area of Yiliang, Yunnan had been ruptured by the quake. He immediately decided to donate 130,000 yuan worth of premium tea and personally led a convoy to the site. In April 2013, during the Ya'an earthquake in Sichuan, He Minghua sent 70,000 yuan worth of herbal tea and supplies to the disaster area.
